Phone intelligence API
Phone number and network intelligence, through one API. Start with free formatting and validation. Add the checks your use case needs.

Start with yourself
Verify your number, then watch the available signals come together. It’s the first step from reading the docs to building your integration.
Verify your email with a six-digit code.
Enter the SMS code sent to your phone.
Before live approval, query only your verified number.
Sample results. This preview does not query a real number.
Your request, your checks
Clean up a number for free. Add richer intelligence when it helps your application. Each check returns its own result and availability.

}This example shows the current API behavior. Network-backed layers return an availability status until their supplier is connected.
Check availability for your marketMade for your backend
A consistent API for the checks you choose, with clear status codes when a result isn’t available.
curl "$QUIETPASS_BASE_URL/v1/phone/check" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $QUIETPASS_API_KEY" \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{
"phone": "YOUR_VERIFIED_NUMBER",
"checks": ["basic_line_type"]
}'Set your base URL and server API key, then use your verified number. API keys belong on your backend.
Call POST /v1/phone/check with a phone string. For national-format input, include a two-letter default_country.
Supported checks: basic_line_type, enhanced_line_type, current_carrier, sim_swap. Send checks: [] for formatting and validation only.
Use a unique Idempotency-Key for each new check. An identical retry with the same key replays the retained response. Keep the returned requestId for support.
Numbering-plan validation does not establish ownership, reachability, or SMS delivery. Carrier and SIM-swap data have their own coverage and approval requirements.

Availability differs by dataset, country, and carrier. See what’s connected for your market before you integrate.

Start small. Build from there.
Explore the integration with your own number. Business and use-case approval comes before a live-service trial, followed by explicit paid activation.

Phone intelligence, explained
Understand the data behind each check, then read the API contract and current coverage.
Understand E.164 formatting and phone number validation, what numbering metadata can tell you, and how to use QuietPass’s free validation API.
Compare free numbering-plan line type with enhanced mobile, landline, and VoIP intelligence. Understand ambiguity, SMS limits, and QuietPass coverage.
Learn how current carrier lookup differs from prefix data, why mobile number portability matters, and how QuietPass reports unavailable MNP coverage.
Understand what a SIM-swap signal can tell an application, how it differs from number validation, and QuietPass’s current coverage and approval requirements.
Check QuietPass coverage by dataset. Global numbering validation and basic line type are available; carrier, MNP, and SIM-swap supply is not yet connected.
Use QuietPass’s phone check and public coverage APIs. Read request fields, authentication, per-check status handling, and current early-access restrictions.
QuietPass is a developer-first phone intelligence API operated by C9 Ventures Ltd. It combines free phone number formatting, numbering-plan validation, and basic line type with optional network checks as supplier coverage becomes available. Access is currently by invitation.
No. Numbering-plan validation checks a number against published numbering rules. It does not confirm assignment, ownership, reachability, or SMS delivery. QuietPass requires a separate SMS verification step before a developer can query their own number. SMS onboarding is not yet enabled.
No. Global numbering metadata and network intelligence have different coverage. Current carrier, enhanced line type, and SIM-swap suppliers are not connected yet. The coverage API reports those layers as not_connected rather than inventing a result.
Formatting, numbering-plan validation, and basic line type are free. Network-check pricing and trial terms are still being confirmed. Business and use-case approval precede a live-service trial; paid access requires explicit activation.
